The ambulance service is designed for urgent situations, ensuring that help arrives within a brief 10-minute window. While the service is currently in a testing phase, Blinkit is optimistic about its potential and expects to broaden its availability to additional locations shortly. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences by offering not just goods but also critical services.
As outlined by Dhindsa, each ambulance will be staffed with a dedicated paramedic, a medical assistant, and a qualified driver, all aimed at delivering care effectively and efficiently. Affordability remains a cornerstone of Blinkit’s service ethos, ensuring that emergency medical help is accessible to a broad range of individuals. Moreover, every ambulance will be equipped with an array of essential life-saving equipment, including oxygen cylinders, Automated External Defibrillators (AED), stretchers, patient monitors, suction machines, and necessary medications to assist during emergencies. The company has high aspirations for this service, with plans to widen its reach across India within the next two years.

Residents of Gurugram can effortlessly book an ambulance through the Blinkit app. To begin, users need to ensure they have the latest version of the app installed. Upon opening the application, they will find an ambulance icon conveniently located next to the Print option. By selecting this icon, users can enter their specific address where the ambulance is needed and proceed to book the service, much like they would for any other delivery offered by Blinkit.
After successfully booking the ambulance, users will receive a confirmation along with detailed medical assistance information, providing them with crucial insights into the care the patient can expect upon the ambulance’s arrival. This comprehensive support system not only facilitates swift access to emergency services but also reinforces Blinkit’s commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of its users, particularly during critical situations.
