The stable rollout for the S24 lineup is projected to commence in early March 2025.

The stable update for the S23 collection is anticipated to arrive between late March and early April 2025.

Samsung’s One UI 7, leveraging the power of Android 15, is eagerly awaited by many Galaxy smartphone users in the year 2025. Featuring enhanced animations, sophisticated AI capabilities, and a redesigned user interface, owners of Galaxy S24, S23, S22, and even S21 devices are keen to learn about the timeline for receiving this significant update. Below, we will break down what users can expect regarding the anticipated rollout schedule for One UI 7.

As reported by Samsung enthusiasts at Sammy Fans, the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra have been identified as the primary focus for this update. These models began their journey into the One UI 7 beta testing phase in December 2024. Users hailing from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, South Korea, and India have been actively testing the preliminary versions of the software. Thus far, Samsung has introduced four beta updates, which have included exciting new features like AI filters and enhancements for Log Video. Most estimates indicate that a stable version of One UI 7 could be officially available in early March 2025 for the Galaxy S24 series.

Following the S24 series, the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra are next in line to receive the much-anticipated One UI 7 update. Although these models have not yet joined the beta program, internal testing is already progressing behind closed doors. Based on historical update patterns observed from Samsung, it’s reasonable to expect a stable release for the S23 series sometime between late March and early April 2025. In fact, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Samsung might opt to bypass the beta phase altogether, moving directly to the stable release, especially as the S23 series continues to operate efficiently with One UI 6.1.

The Galaxy S22 series, including models such as the S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, will also enjoy the benefits of One UI 7, thanks to Samsung’s commitment to providing extensive software support for four years. The stable rollout for this lineup is expected to occur between April and May 2025, following the updates for the S24 and S23 series.

Although the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra are nearing the conclusion of their update lifecycle, they too will be eligible for the One UI 7 upgrade. Current estimates suggest that the stable update for this series is anticipated in the second quarter of 2025, likely landing sometime in April or May.

Therefore, Samsung’s approach for deploying One UI 7 is expected to unfold in several phases, with a clear emphasis on prioritizing the latest devices. While the waiting period may be taxing for some users, this phased rollout strategy is designed to ensure that the update is as polished and reliable as possible before reaching the hands of consumers.
