After the successful unveiling of the Galaxy S25 series in January, Samsung, the South Korean electronics leader, is preparing for the launch of the next flagship in its innovative Galaxy Z series. Historically, July 2025 is when the tech giant typically showcases its next generation of foldable smartphones during the Unpacked event. Although Samsung has not officially announced the details regarding the new Galaxy Z Flip 7, an abundance of rumors and leaks are surfacing online, shedding light on what users can expect.
Initially, it was believed that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 would retain the same design as its predecessor, the Flip 6. However, recent leaks indicate a significant modification in the cover display, hinting at a design reminiscent of the iconic Motorola Razr. This shift could bring an exciting twist to the Z Flip series.
New reports forecast that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature an even larger cover display, marking a departure from the narrower, folder-like design of the previous Flip models. This upgrade is expected to enhance the device’s usability, providing users with more features and functionalities without the need to unfold the handset.
Additionally, Samsung is rumored to be working on minimizing the visibility of the crease that has been a common concern throughout the series. The dual-camera setup integrated into the cover screen is likely to remain, although leaks suggest that the camera housings will now blend more seamlessly with the overall color scheme of the device, resulting in a sleeker, more refined look.
Alongside these design improvements, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is anticipated to come equipped with a 6.7-inch main AMOLED display, mixing vibrant visuals with enhanced performance. Under the hood, the device is projected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, which should deliver notable speed and efficiency. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the inclusion of a dual-camera array, featuring a 50-megapixel primary shooter alongside a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, aimed at capturing stunning images. Users can also expect a robust battery life, with a 4,000mAh battery expected to power the device throughout the day.
Pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is projected to start at approximately $1,099, which translates to an estimated Rs 1,09,999 in the Indian market. This pricing is expected to be in line with that of its predecessor, making it a comparable option for those looking to upgrade.
