If the rumors circulating in the tech community hold any truth, Samsung could officially unveil these devices on July 23, 2025. While the company has not yet confirmed any specifications or features, insider reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will showcase remarkable enhancements across design, camera functionality, and overall performance. Recent CAD renders leaked by renowned tipster Steve H. Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) and shared through Android Headlines paint a picture of a more refined Galaxy Z Fold 7. When unfolded, this new device is speculated to measure 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm, which results in a sleek profile that is 1.1mm thinner than its predecessor, the Fold 6. Additionally, improvements are expected to include a wider cover display, along with a familiar triple-camera configuration embedded within a raised island design.
One of the most exciting aspects of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its camera system, which is rumored to see major upgrades. The phone is believed to come equipped with an impressive 200-megapixel primary camera, akin to the one featured in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Should this rumor turn out to be accurate, it would signify the first time a non-Korean foldable device from Samsung showcases such a powerful sensor. Other components of the camera setup are expected to remain consistent: a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the cover display, as well as a 4-megapixel under-display camera for selfies taken on the inner screen.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to be powered by the latest Snapdragon processor; however, specific details regarding the exact model have yet to be disclosed. This upgrade could lead to improved speed, efficiency, and overall performance compared to its predecessor.
In India, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to carry a considerable price tag, estimated at Rs 1,64,999 for the variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. That said, this pricing is yet to be officially verified by Samsung.
