ToggleThe forthcoming One UI 7 update—based on Android 15—is a hot topic among Samsung enthusiasts, particularly regarding its rollout for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series. Initial reports indicated a potential launch on February 7 for the Galaxy S24 series, with additional updates for the S23 series to follow in the upcoming weeks. However, that anticipated timeline did not materialize.
Recent updates from industry insiders suggest that Samsung is preparing to initiate a broader rollout in April. This would follow the release of several beta versions. According to these sources, two additional beta iterations of One UI 7 are slated for release, with Beta 5 expected in March and Beta 6 in April. This sequence is anticipated to precede the public launch of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series.

If these reports hold true, the release will comprise six beta updates for One UI 7, suggesting that Samsung is concentrating on polishing its AI capabilities and enhancing design elements before making the firmware available to devices beyond just the Galaxy S25 series.
Current reports suggest that while the One UI 7 update is expected for the Galaxy S24 series in April, older devices, such as the Galaxy S23 series, may experience additional delays in receiving it. This is particularly noteworthy given that stable Android 16 is already under development and is anticipated to be released sooner than expected, which will coincide closely with Samsung’s rollout for older models.
The One UI 7 update is set to be available across a wide range of Galaxy devices, prominently including the S24, S23, S22, and S21 (with FE variants also included). The A series will also benefit from this upgrade, encompassing models like the A73, A55, A54, A53, A35, A34, A33, A25, A24, A23, A15, A14, A05, and A05s.
Additionally, the M series, including the M55, M54, M53, M35, M34, M33, and M15, will receive the latest updates as well.
For fans of the Galaxy Z lineup, devices such as the Flip 6, Fold 6, Flip 5, Fold 5, Flip 4, Fold 4, Flip 3, and Fold 3 are all included in the list of devices set to receive the One UI 7 update.
