Poco is in the final stages of launching its next series of flagship smartphones in India, specifically the Poco F7 series. This lineup will comprise two variants: the Poco F7 Pro and the Poco F7 Ultra, with an official launch event scheduled for March 27. The F7 Ultra marks a significant addition to the portfolio and is projected to be the top-tier offering in the F-series. Recent leaks suggest that these upcoming devices are likely to serve as global versions of the Redmi K80 series, which first emerged in the Chinese market last year. However, the focus will primarily be on the Poco F7 Pro during the launch in India, and here’s a comprehensive overview of the latest specifications and features we know about it.
The Poco F7 Pro is set to showcase a stunning 6.67-inch AMOLED display that boasts a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, ensuring a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. On the performance front, the smartphone will be powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Coupled with a substantial 12GB of RAM, users can expect seamless multitasking and smooth performance, alongside generous storage options of either 256GB or 512GB. Operating on the latest Android 15, it will feature the user-friendly HyperOS 2, enhancing the overall user experience.
When it comes to photography, the Poco F7 Pro aims to impress with its dual-camera system. The primary camera is anticipated to feature a high-resolution 50-megapixel sensor, equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for clear and detailed photos, supplemented by an 8-megapixel secondary lens. For those who love to take selfies, the front-facing camera is expected to be a 20-megapixel unit, catering to all your selfie needs.

As for the Poco F7 Ultra, it is expected to maintain the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display as the Pro version, yet will be powered by the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for enhanced performance. The camera specifications are rumored to be quite impressive too, featuring a similar 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, alongside an additional 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a 32-megapixel ultrawide sensor. This robust camera setup would also include a selfie camera boasting 32 megapixels, ensuring crystal-clear self-portraits.
Battery life and charging features are also set to see significant upgrades. The Ultra variant is speculated to house a 5,300mAh battery, supporting astonishing 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Like its Pro counterpart, the F7 Ultra will run on the HyperOS 2 and is expected to have an IP68 rating for superior water and dust resistance.
