I have made the decision to elevate our performance management criteria and expedite the transition of low-performing employees out of the organization. Traditionally, we manage underperformers over the year, but now, we will undertake more extensive performance-based layoffs during this period—with the intent to backfill these roles in 2025. We will not let go of everyone who did not meet expectations if we see potential for improvement; for those affected, we will offer substantial severance packages similar to what we’ve provided in previous rounds of cuts.

We will offer additional guidance to managers ahead of the calibration meetings. Affected individuals will be informed starting February 10, with notifications potentially extending to those based outside the U.S.
