Given the overwhelming response from audiences, the producers of Pushpa 2: The Rule have announced a reloaded version of this blockbuster hit.

This reloaded version of the film is set to include 20 additional minutes of footage that fans will get to enjoy. The update is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 11. This move is likely to attract even more viewers to cinemas to experience the film anew.

Among the additional footage, it has been reported that there will be enhanced scenes from the highly-anticipated Japan sequence, as well as potentially new scenes designed to heighten the film’s intensity and drama.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production company responsible for the film, announced the news via social media, unveiling a fresh poster showcasing Allu Arjun in a powerful and intense role. The announcement stated, “#Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION with 20 minutes of added footage will play in cinemas from 11th January. The WILDFIRE gets extra FIERY.”

Industry analysts suggest that this reloaded version is a strategic decision to maintain the film’s strong presence at the box office, especially amidst the competitive landscape of the Sankranthi festival season. Upcoming releases, including Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, and Venkatesh Daggubati’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, could divert some attention away, thus making this reloaded version a timely and smart move.

Currently, Pushpa 2: The Rule has already eclipsed the total box office collections of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, grossing ₹1,831 crores worldwide in a mere 32 days. In terms of its international success, in North America, Pushpa 2 ranks as the fourth-highest Tollywood grosser, trailing behind beloved titles such as Baahubali 2, Kalki 2898 AD, and RRR.
