Motorola is poised to announce a new device for the Indian market soon.

It is anticipated to be equipped with Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.

We expect numerous specifications to be enhanced compared to the previous generation Motorola flip phone.

Earlier this year, Motorola introduced its Moto Razr 50 series in India, and it received a warm response from consumers. Now, the company is reportedly preparing to launch its successor, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, in the Indian market. A recent report from 91Mobiles indicates that the device has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting that Motorola is getting ready to make an official announcement.

The listing details reveal the model number XT2551, which is known internally as “Orion.” This follows the trend of how Motorola has coded its past devices. If we consider the timeline for 2024, it’s reasonable to speculate that the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra could see its launch in the latter half of the year. Although the specifics regarding the Razr 60 Ultra are still scarce, it’s expected to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, which is likely to offer a significant performance boost. Furthermore, we can expect a plethora of upgraded specifications, refining the features we saw in the previous Motorola flip phone model.

While we await further details on the Razr 60 Ultra, let’s examine what the existing Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has to offer.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Specifications

The Razr 50 Ultra is equipped with a vibrant 6.9-inch full-HD+ LTPO pOLED inner display, boasting an impressive 165Hz refresh rate alongside HDR10+ support. Notably, the device features a larger 4-inch cover screen, enhancing its usability. This model is powered by the robust Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring a smooth user experience even during demanding tasks.

Turning our attention to the camera capabilities, the Razr 50 Ultra excels with a dual-camera setup on the rear. It comprises a 50-megapixel primary sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens that provides 2x optical zoom. For selfie enthusiasts, there is also a 32-megapixel camera located on the inner display, perfect for capturing high-quality self-portraits or video calls. To keep the device running throughout the day, it features a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 45W, along with wireless charging options for added convenience.
