According to various leaks circulating within tech circles, Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S25 series on January 22 during the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. However, it’s important to note that Samsung has not yet made an official announcement regarding this date.
When it comes to pricing, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to launch at Rs 1,29,900, mirroring the launch price of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Nonetheless, should the emerging reports hold true, Samsung might consider a slight increase in the pricing due to new updates and enhancements. Until the Galaxy Unpacked event officially reveals the pricing details, these remain speculative.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature an expansive 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, elevating the visual experience, especially for gaming and multimedia consumption. It will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, combined with configurations offering up to 16GB RAM for robust performance. Providing ample battery life, the handset is predicted to come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery featuring support for 45W fast charging, ensuring that users spend less time tethered to a charger. Operating on Android 15 layered with OneUI 7, the device is set to include exclusive GalaxyAI functionalities, enhancing overall user experience.
Photography enthusiasts are in for a treat, as Samsung is expected to retain its flagship 200MP primary shooter, accompanied by an advanced 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Furthermore, there will be a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and an additional 10MP telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom.
