As the buzz surrounding the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro intensifies, Nothing Technology has officially confirmed the timeline for the launch of its next flagship, the Nothing Phone 3. The company’s founder, Carl Pei, shared this information during a recent 10-minute Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X (previously known as Twitter). The Phone 3 will be released following the launch of the more budget-friendly Phone 2a and Phone 2a Plus models, which debuted earlier this year.

If the grapevine is accurate, Nothing is preparing to roll out the Phone 3, which will feature several noteworthy upgrades. In line with current industry trends, there is a strong expectation that the device will place a significant emphasis on artificial intelligence features while retaining the brand’s trademark transparent aesthetic complete with Glyph lighting.

Expected Launch Timeline for the Nothing Phone 3

Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 is set to launch in Q3 2025, specifically between July and September. This timeframe aligns with the company’s established release rhythm, following the debut of the Nothing Phone 1 in July 2022 and the Phone 2 a year later in July 2023. Originally, the Phone 3 was slated for a release last year, but Pei explained that the team opted to concentrate on crafting a more personalized AI experience prior to introducing another flagship device.

While the current spotlight is on the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing has been somewhat tight-lipped regarding the specifics of the Phone 3. Nevertheless, rumors and leaks have been proliferating across the internet, feeding anticipation.

The Nothing Phone 3 is rumored to feature a 6.77-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of brightness, users can expect a high brightness mode that can reach up to 1600 nits and a peak brightness of an impressive 3000 nits.

When it comes to photography capabilities, the upcoming device is likely to incorporate a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. This may encompass a primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. Additionally, for selfies, the Phone 3 might sport a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of battery life, it is expected to pack a robust 5300mAh battery, compatible with 50W fast charging and 20W wireless charging capabilities.

As for pricing, it is anticipated that the Phone 3 will hit the market with a price point of approximately Rs 45,000 in India.
