Following the successful introduction of its flagship Vivo X200 series—which featured the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro—the manufacturer is preparing to expand its lineup in India with the new Vivo X200 Pro Mini. This device made its debut in China, along with several other models from the X200 range. Though initial expectations were set for a simultaneous launch alongside the other X200 devices, that timeline has shifted. Recent leaks, however, indicate that the Vivo X200 Pro Mini could soon arrive in India.
The Vivo X200 Pro Mini, already available in China, has yet to enter the global market. Well-respected tipster Yogesh Brar has suggested that the launch in India is tentatively scheduled for sometime between April and June 2025. Given that the smartphone has been officially introduced in China and considering the volume of rumors circulating online, we have amassed considerable information about what to expect from this upcoming device.
The Indian version of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is expected to feature a vivid 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display, offering an impressive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 1.5K resolution, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Powering this smartphone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, ensuring robust performance and efficiency. Furthermore, it is speculated that the device will ship with Android 15, layered with the user-friendly Funtouch OS 15. This smartphone may also boast IP68 and IP69 ratings, which confirm its resistance to dust and water, adding an extra layer of durability.
When we turn our attention to the camera capabilities, we can expect a powerful triple-camera setup. This arrangement is anticipated to include a 50-megapixel main shooter, complemented by a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and yet another 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor. The telephoto lens is particularly noteworthy, as it is expected to offer 3x optical zoom along with an impressive 100x digital zoom—ideal for capturing distant subjects with clarity. On the front, the device is likely to sport a 32-megapixel selfie camera, designed to deliver stunning self-portraits.
Finally, one of the standout features of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is expected to be its long-lasting 5,700mAh battery. This hefty power pack will support rapid 90W wired charging, allowing users to quickly recharge their devices, and 30W wireless charging capabilities for added convenience.
